letterpress lovely

Style :
You may well have come across the beauty that is letterpressing if you've been browsing stationery and invite ideas they are bound to have made you go oooh ahhhh.  It really is an utterly beautiful way of printing and totally looks the bees knees ~ especially for wedding invites.  These very pretty summery bunting letterpress invites were designed by a very talented bride to be - Shelley Rodgers {check out how she designed them on her cute blog!}.  She based her design on a 1950's style post card and wanted it to have a vintage feel to match the wedding theme. I love the use of summery colours and the carnival font adds a quirky touch.
They were then printed at the fabulous Blush Publishing {previously featured in my plain bored post} who do a great bespoke letterpress printing service and are mightily helpful guys too {having enquired myself I can highly recommend}.
Here's a little bit more detail on the invites if you want to know the tecchie bit ~ size A6, printed on 638gsm 100% cotton paper. They were letterpressed on a vintage Heidelberg platen printing press in 3 colours.  Please visit for further info on their letterpress services. A high five to Mark at Blush and bride Shelley for letting me feature these!
