Cupcakes For Japan

Style :

Cupcakes for Japan is a campaign organised by the delicious custom made cupcake company Crumbs! Couture in association with the British Red Cross, in response to the troubles currently being faced by the people of Japan after the devastating Earthquake and Tsunami that hit the country earlier this month.

I think we all feel rather helpless in this awful situation, so I just wanted to post about the wonderful work that the owner and campaign organiser, Harri and everyone involved are doing and help promote the charity.

Cupcakes for Japan came about when Harri decided to make use of contacts from her previous career in the city with those who she met in her new Cupcakery career to fundraise for the British Red Cross charity. Harri has enlisted the help of some wonderful and willing fellow bakers who will be hosting Cupcake Sales where they will be visiting large companies and organisations and selling cupcakes to employees with ALL proceeds going to charity.

Harri and the team have created a really positive start so far and are currently on track to sell 2000 cupcakes, so hoping to raise at least £4k from the cupcakes, and hopefully a little further help from generous extra donations.

Harri would love to hear from you if you are interested in helping in anyway to this campaign. Whether that is as a baker or a member of staff who think their company or office might be able to host a Cupcake Sale, please do speak to Harri and spread the word to help this wonderful cause.

Please visit the Crumbs! Couture blog for more details or you can contact Harri by email
