I don't often feature real weddings on London Bride as I figure some of my friends blogs do this well enough, however it can be a shame as it does mean I don't often get the chance to showcase some of the wonderful photography talent out there that I love.
So this post is to indulge me slightly with the wonderful work of Jodie Chapman. Of course I hope you too enjoy this wedding! In fact the beautiful bride Liz is sister to a lovely friend of mine (hi Vic!) so this wedding is extra lovely (you can spot her as the bridesmaid in that gorgeous grey dress.)
The intimate and informal wedding took place at Winchester House in Putney with it's beautiful riverside location and stunning grounds. The actual ceremony was a small and intimate one with just immediate family and Liz describes walking in to a room full of love. How sweet is that!
Liz wore a stunning jewelled Temperley gown and the whole wedding has a real English fete feel to it, and with the Champagne tea, bunting and marque on the lawn it seems only appropriate that they had a jazz band to entertain the guests!
I love that Liz and David chose not to have a table plan, so that there was a really relaxed feel for the evening while their friends and family mingled - bought together by the speeches which were a perfect combination of emotion, humour and love.
