Paper Cut - Cutture Bespoke Lasercut Stationery

Style :

Last week was a particularly crazy one, along with the Wedding Bloggers Photoshoot and the Niermerko & Brown's Bride Valentine's Party I had a quick visit to The Designer Wedding Show too. Next year I need to remember February is a busy month! Considered one of the best wedding shows in London it is renowned for it's style and it features some of the country's most luxury wedding suppliers along with a leading designer catwalk show (loved it this year).  I was very kindly given tickets to attend by the lovely Helen from Cutture and with this I dragged my rather bewildered bride to be, best friend down to Battersea.

Cutture is a stationery company that has long been on my radar. I'm a little obsessed with laser cutting (you know you can even laser cut furniture!) and what these guys are able to produce for weddings and events is just so intricate and pretty. The service they provide is very much design led for the client, and allows them total freedom and control of course.

Obviously the laser cut element is very alluring in itself, but the illustrations created are solely about each client so be it a city, a hobby or their wedding venue.  I love that it's almost like their own artwork being produced in stationery format - and you know that it's entirely bespoke just for you.

At the DWS, Cutture were also keen to promote not just their stationery but the 3 dimensional aspect to their work as oh no - their talent doesn't just stop on paper (the team behind Cutture do in fact have spatial design backgrounds hence why they are so good at this)! Thank you to photographer Eddie Judd for capturing photographs of the stand!

Having seen the stand in person, it was the perfect platform to showcase their larger scale pieces - such as the stunning feature wall (above) that was covered in aubergine coloured laser cut flowers - swoon! Such wonderful inspiration for brides to be  - so eye catching and really made me aware of how else you can use stationery at your wedding. I'm now desperately trying to find an excuse to style a wedding with a paper flower wall (or maybe just them hanging!).

They also had other beautiful pieces of smaller stationery items such as plate menus (sooo loved these!) and matching table plans.  I am also rather partial to the perspex lettering on the wall...

London Bride is currently bothering Cutture with many a ridiculous idea, desperate to incorporate some laser cut somewhere in my life (so desperate I did actually just buy a top from Primark which is a laser cut effect!) so watch this space...

Please do check out their fabulous website for further information and products - or visit their beautiful boutique in Wandsworth!
